Now that the old drywall and plaster has come down it’s time restore and rebuild. It is at this stage that all the electrical is best to be addressed. Most older Toronto homes are equipped with what is known as “KNOB and TUBE WIRING”, which was commonly used from the 1880′s to roughly 1930. New built homes are not for everyone’s preference. Many of our clients are drawn to mature neighbourhoods in Toronto. Often for the convenience of being closer to the city or simply “URBAN LOVE”. It is in the neighbourhood of Yonge and Lawrence that we have undertaken the restoration of a home built in 1929, and left almost original by the previous owners.

As tradition has it every year, the Pantone Colour Institute releases the Colour of the Year.
A colour which influences all aspects of the visual world around us, from kitchen accessories, home decor, wall coverings and paint, even extending into cabinetry and furniture pieces.
This year finds us celebrating a colour that is BRIGHT and ENCHANTING while also being HOPEFUL and OPTIMISTIC.
You can imagine how thrilled CALITRI was when they announced (considering it’s one of our company brand colours) TANGERINE TANGO!!!

With autumn upon us, many of us have started to spend less time outdoors due to the change in temperature, and frequent rain that the season brings with it. We are preparing for the winter “cocooning”; getting re-aquainted with the indoors.
